Job 40: 6—42: 17

So, here is the thing; you can ask God sincere seeking questions, but you have to be ready for Him to answer you! Perhaps in a whirlwind? Perhaps with questions you cannot answer? Perhaps both! We can ask God questions because we cannot poke holes in the truth that He is, He was, and He always will be. That is unshakable truth. It just is, and nothing you think or say will change that. That is the beautiful argument that God lays out for Job. He says, “Look at creation! Does it not testify to my greatness?” God painstakingly lays out so many amazing different brilliant ways He made creation, the argument and evidence is so convincing that Job, “Takes back everything he said.” Bless him, it is painful to be humbled, but also so good for us. And let’s not forget, God won that bet with Satan. Job never wavered in believing God was God.

This new, deeper understanding of God paves the way for blessing upon blessing to come to Job. It says the second half of his life was more abundant than the first!
